Hi, thank you for clicking the link to donate to my page!
For the past 7 seasons, I’ve had the privilege of coaching the Boys U12 Gold team with South Bronx United. What started as volunteering my time on the field has become something deeply meaningful to me. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful this program is: not just in developing strong soccer players, but in shaping confident, resilient young leaders.
South Bronx United (SBU) is a nonprofit youth development organization that uses soccer as a tool for social change. This year alone, more than 1,900 young people ,from age four through college, will participate in programs on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
Founded in 2009 to address the lack of youth athletic programs in the South Bronx, SBU has grown into a comprehensive support system for young people and their families. The organization combines competitive soccer with academic enrichment, college prep, mentoring, leadership development, health and wellness programming, immigration legal services, and broader family support.
The results speak for themselves. The SBU Academy has a 100% high school graduation rate and a 97% college matriculation rate — with college-readiness rates three times higher than their peers.
I’ve previously challenged myself by running a half marathon in Iceland, and I’m proud to continue pushing myself in support of a cause that means so much to me. Every dollar raised goes toward expanding access and opportunity for these incredible kids.
This cause is very dear to me, and I truly appreciate support in any amount. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
