2026 NYC Marathon

At South Bronx United (SBU) we feel that soccer – like running – can be the catalyst for building leadership skills, such as responsibility and teamwork.  At SBU, soccer programming engages young people in comprehensive programs and services including afterschool tutoring, college prep, mentoring, counseling, immigrant legal services, and alumni support.

Since 2017, South Bronx United has been a Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon. Each year, SBU has received ten to fifteen slots to provide to runners who receive guaranteed entry to the Marathon while raising vital funds to benefit SBU youth programs in the classroom and on the field.
