I'm thrilled to be running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of South Bronx United (SBU) — an organization that combines the power of soccer with academic enrichment, mentorship, and community support to uplift youth in the South Bronx.
Youth development through sport is a cause that’s deeply personal to me. Growing up in Canada, I was part of GGSCF – a youth-run charity with the motto "children helping children." That experience taught me firsthand how transformative sports & fitness can be as a vehicle for positively impacting communities around the world.
SBU embodies that same spirit. With a 100% high school graduation rate and 94% college matriculation rate for its academy students, SBU gives kids the right support both on and off the field. I’ve supported SBU in the past as a donor, but I'm proud and excited to run 26.2 miles this fall in the name of this incredible cause.
Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you!!
