The Flamingos are THE Premier Men's Mostly Over-40 Sunday Night Upper East Side 90th Street soccer team. 

We are competing in South Bronx United's Charity Cup to raise funds for academics, college prep, mentoring, workforce development, immigration legal services, family services, and soccer! South Bronx United serves more than 1,900 children, young adults, and families in one of the nation's poorest congressional districts.

The organization's core program, the SBU Academy, has a 100% high school graduation rate and 94% college matriculation rate. College-readiness rates of graduates are three-times the rate of their peers.

In recent years, SBU has expanded the range of its programs to reflect the evolving needs of the South Bronx community. The Workforce Development Program, includes youth training and working at SBU’s Clubhouse Cafe, on the field as coaches, and in the classroom. SBU also launched a Civic and Voter Engagement initiative with CUNY and the NY Campaign Finance Board, aimed at increasing the low voter participation rates in the South Bronx. During the World Cup, 22 South Bronx girls and boys are walking out with players at Met Life Stadium.
